Measurement
The Measurement Tools in RIM-Nat allow for analyzing and documenting elements within the 3D scene. Each tool is designed for precise analysis, whether measuring distances, angles, heights, or orientations. These advanced features provide powerful means to capture and manipulate geometric data directly within the scene.
Available Measurement Tools
- Point: Captures exact coordinates of a point.
- Distance: Calculates distance between multiple points.
- Height: Measures height relative to a reference level.
- Angle: Calculates the angle formed by three points.
- Area: Measures surface area defined by multiple points.
- Azimuth: Measures orientation between two points relative to north.
- Circle: Defines and measures circle properties.
- Box: Calculates the volume of a cubic region.
- Sphere: Measures points within a spherical region.
- Clipping Box: Isolates and focuses on specific areas.
- Profile: Creates a 2D cross-section along a path.
- Export Measurements: Saves and exports measurements in JSON, DXF, or LAS formats.
These tools offer a comprehensive set for geometric analysis and documentation within the 3D environment.
