The Text tool in RIM-Nat allows you to add simple, customizable text markers directly within a 3D model. This feature is ideal for labeling parts of the model, providing key information, or guiding users through complex environments by adding visible, descriptive text annotations.

  • Simple Text Marker: Adds a basic text marker in the 3D scene, visible directly in the model without needing to select any element.
  • Customization Options: The text color, size, and background opacity can be customized to enhance readability and to suit the context.

Usage of the Text Tool

  1. Select the Tool: In the toolbar, click on Text to activate the tool and add a text marker at a specific location in the scene.

  2. Customize the Text:

    • Title: Enter the main text to display in the scene.
    • Color: Choose a color for the text to make it stand out against the background.
    • Background Opacity: Adjust the opacity of the text background to ensure readability, especially in busy or complex scenes.
    • Size: Modify the text size to suit the scale of the model.
    • Alignment: Control vertical and horizontal alignment to position the text precisely as needed.

The Text tool is especially useful for:
