The Text tool in RIM-Nat allows you to add simple, customizable text markers directly within a 3D model. This feature is ideal for labeling parts of the model, providing key information, or guiding users through complex environments by adding visible, descriptive text annotations.
Key Features
- Simple Text Marker: Adds a basic text marker in the 3D scene, visible directly in the model without needing to select any element.
- Customization Options: The text color, size, and background opacity can be customized to enhance readability and to suit the context.
Usage of the Text Tool
Select the Tool: In the toolbar, click on Text to activate the tool and add a text marker at a specific location in the scene.
Customize the Text:

- Providing Simple Information: Label specific parts of the 3D model with brief, relevant information.
- Highlighting Areas and Elements: Mark zones, name features, structures, parcels, or reference points within the model.
- Direct Display in 3D: The text is directly displayed in the 3D view, making it immediately visible without the need to select any element.
